Assurances General Laos (AGL) successfully organized its annual tree-planting initiative, planting 1,000 saplings within the protected areas of the Phou Khao Khouay National Park, specifically located at Ban Na Nguen, Thoulakhom District, Vientiane Province.

The event was led by Dr. Sengaloun INMYXAI, CEO of AGL, and was attended by AGL executives, employees, strategic business partners, and local community members who joined hands to expand the nation’s green canopy.

This initiative is a core element of AGL’s long-standing Sustainability Campaign. Reflecting its commitment to being a socially responsible organization, AGL has conducted annual tree-planting projects to combat climate change, protect natural biodiversity, and restore the vital ecosystems of Laos.

What makes this campaign highly impactful is its unique connection to AGL’s digital strategy. The tree-planting project directly translates AGL’s paperless initiatives into tangible environmental action. By encouraging customers to switch from traditional paper documents to Electronic Policies (e-Policy), AGL significantly reduces carbon footprints and paper consumption. Every e-Policy chosen by a customer is symbolized by the trees planted during this event.

“At AGL, protecting our customers goes hand-in-hand with protecting our planet,” stated Dr. Sengaloun INMYXAI during the opening remarks. “Our annual tree-planting activity is a physical manifestation of our digital transition. By choosing e-Policies, our customers are actively partnering with us to build a greener, more sustainable Laos.”

AGL extends its sincere gratitude to the local authorities of Thoulakhom District, the village administration of Ban Na Nguen, and the management of Phou Khao Khouay National Park for their support in making this environmental milestone a great success.
