The Ministry of Finance held an official ceremony to announce the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer of Assurances General Laos (AGL). This appointment is part of the organizational restructuring and strengthening of leadership roles aimed at driving sustainable corporate growth.
The prestigious ceremony was presided over by Mr. Santiphab Phomvihane, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. The event was attended by the management team, department heads, and key personnel of AGL, alongside representatives from various departments under the Ministry of Finance, who gathered to witness the official announcement.
During the ceremony, the official decree was read, formally appointing Dr. Sengaloun INMYXAI (who previously served as the Acting CEO) as the official CEO of AGL. This appointment recognizes her outstanding leadership performance, exceptional capabilities, and extensive expertise in the finance and insurance sectors.
On this auspicious occasion, H.E. Santiphab Phomvihane delivered a guidance speech to the newly appointed CEO and the executive committee. He urged them to enhance their core responsibilities, proactively modernize operational tasks, ensure transparency, and maintain excellent service standards. This is to ensure that AGL, as a 100% state-owned enterprise, remains a strong and stable pillar in mitigating risks for the public and contributing to the nation’s socio-economic development.
In response, Dr. Sengaloun INMYXAI, the newly appointed CEO of AGL, expressed her deepest gratitude to the higher authorities, particularly the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, for their trust and confidence in assigning her to this honorable position. She pledged to dedicate her full intellect and capabilities, working hand-in-hand with the management team and all employees, to lead AGL toward a stable future driven by digital transformation and service excellence.
