Third Party Liability Motor Insurance (TPL)
By legal binding, all vehicles circulating in Lao PDR must have insurance to cover their victims in case of road accidents.
Whether you are the owner/driver of a vehicle such as tuk-tuk, a motorbike, a car, a pick-up or a truck with a very experienced and cautious drive, you may be involved in a traffic accident and there may be victims of bodily injuries or loss of life
Assurances General Laos Third Party Liability Motor Insurance cover your expense that may occur in the event of experiencing car accidents in addition to any resulting property damages or physical injuries or death.
Assurances General Laos Third Party Liability Motor Insurance will reimburse to the other parties as follows:
- Medical and hospital costs in case of injury
- Permanent disability
- Death compensation to victim's family
- Damage to property (e.g. vehicle, object, animal and/or transported goods)
Important note that the Third-Party Liability Insurance will only cover the damages obtained by a third party resulting from an accident in which you are responsible but not your vehicle.
